Girl students fighting for the victory of the football tournament organized in the capital.

8 teams have participated in the competition, organized by the Association of Women's Football, mini football and beach football of Uzbekistan jointly with the ministries of higher and secondary special education, internal affairs and the Football Federation of Uzbekistan.

The main objective of the competition is to further promote women's football in our country, improve the experience and skill of the athletes, preparing our team for the upcoming women's World Cup.

In the first match of the group A, team of the Tashkent branch of Russian State University of oil and gas named after I.Gubkin met with the team of Singapore Institute of management development in Tashkent. The students of the Singapore Institute of management development have won with the score of 2:1.
In the second match of the group, students of the National Institute of arts and design named after Kamoliddin Behzod lost to the team of Tashkent University of information technologies with the score of 1:3.

In the group B, teams of the Tashkent State Pedagogical University named after Nizomiy and the Uzbek State University of World Languages played a draw – 1:1. The match between Tashkent Medical Academy and Inha University in Tashkent also ended with the same score.
