The Third International Championship BELAZ CHALLENGE-2023 took place in Minsk, where students from Uzbekistan showed high results.

This year, eight teams from the best technical universities of Russia, Belarus, and Uzbekistan participated in the championships. Students presented proposals for introducing alternative energy sources for mining dump trucks and analyzed equipment operations based on data from the IMS.

The 4th-year students of the Mining Machinery and Equipment Department of the Almalyk branch of NUST “MISiS” Azay Sadigov, Akbarjon Azamatov, and Muhammad Ali Zaylobiddinov showed their skills in a stubborn struggle for the main prizes in several areas. They became best in the nominations for “The most creative video business card” and “The most original solution of the BELAZ machine-building case”.

Marketing Director of BELAZ International Trading House Natalia Kholodulina visited the branch, congratulated students on their success at the international championships, and presented diplomas and memorable gifts.
