At the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, heads of district and city sectors presented the results of an educational-practical workshop on tourism development.

The training-practical workshops were aimed at in-depth studying speeches of the President of Uzbekistan at the meetings of the Senate and the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, held on November 18-20, 2024, as well as the tasks facing the leaders in connection with the announcement of 2025 as the Year of Environmental Protection and Green Economy.

As a part of the practical training workshop, the heads of district and city sectors became familiar with tourism projects in the Tashkent region’s Bostanlyk district.

During the presentations, the leaders spoke about the key projects implemented and planned for developing tourism in the regions. They made proposals aimed at developing tourist infrastructure, hotel facilities, recreation areas, sightseeing routes, and cultural heritage sites. The strategies for promoting ecotourism, wellness tourism, and Uzbekistan’s unique natural and cultural riches as a tourist brand were presented.
