Stimulus Pushes the Way for Search
An exhibition entitled “The Youth of Our Country” has taken place at the Central Exposition Hall of Uzbekistan’s Academy of Arts.
It is organized as part of the execution of the National Program “The Year of the Healthy Child” and the 6 February 2014 resolution of President Islam Karimov outlining measures directed at streamlining the youth policy in Uzbekistan.
It was stressed at the event that a special significance is attached under the leadership of President Islam Karimov to assistance and comprehensive support for the younger generation.
Comprehensive nurturing of youths deserving the great ancestors is considered a priority task in our country. As a result of the wide-ranging efforts undertaken on this front, the young people of Uzbekistan have been succeeding in international artistic exhibitions, biennales and art festivals.
The exposition was attended by young artists, craftspeople from various regions of the country, as well as schoolchildren keen into the fine arts. The works presented at the exhibition and executed in diverse genres of visual and applied arts reflect the huge attention paid to the education and healthcare of the younger generation of our country. The exposition’s principal objective is to introduce the wider public to the works of young talents, the support for them and to boost the interest of youths in arts.
“This artistic competition has opened up an opportunity to exchange views and expertise with our peers,” says Gulshoda Omonova, winner in the nomination ‘For the Preservation of National Traditions in Arts’. “At the same time we have had a chance to get familiar with novelties in the sphere, works by masters and creative youths.”
Authors of best works in nominations ‘Viewpoint of the Authors’, ‘Original Opinion in Plastic Art’, ‘Continuity of the School of Academic Painting’, ‘Creative Search in Applied Arts’, ‘Continuity of Traditions in Etching’ have been awarded diplomas.
