On 13-17 November this year, a delegation from Statistics Korea visits Uzbekistan to further enhance cooperation and exchange experience on bilateral issues in statistics.

On the first day of the visit, the delegation visited the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

At the meeting, the guests met with the heads of the central office of the Agency, led by the Deputy Director of the Statistics Agency Ziyayev Zohidjon, and exchanged views on developing and enhancing cooperation between the two statistical agencies.

According to the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan, the parties discussed and agreed to develop cooperation in human resource development, implementation of quality management systems, and work with administrative data, other data collection systems, information systems, databases, and IT infrastructure.
