As of September 1, 2023, the number of operating enterprises in Uzbekistan with foreign investment was 12,750 units, of which 4,833 were joint ventures and 7,917 were foreign enterprises.

Their number by economic sectors is reflected as follows:

in trade – 4,191 units,

in industry – 3,184 units,

in construction – 886 units,

in the information and communications industry – 763 units,

in agriculture, forestry and fisheries – 475 units,

in the accommodation and food services industry – 469 units,

in the transportation and storage industry – 422 units,

in the healthcare and social services sector – 181 units,

in other types – 2,179 units.
