In the 2020/2021 academic year, the number of foreign students studying in Uzbekistan’s higher education institutions amounted to 4.2 thousand people, the State Statistics Committee reports.

The number of foreign students studying in higher education institutions of the country by years:

In the 2017/2018 academic year – 1.3 thousand students.

In the 2018/2019 academic year – 2.7 thousand students.

In the 2019/2020 academic year – 3.6 thousand students.

In the 2020/2021 academic year – 4.2 thousand students.
