On the eve of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan's independence, a group of compatriots was awarded by the Presidential Decree for active participation in the public life of our Motherland and merits in strengthening the country's independence, its economic power, developing the spirituality of the people, preserving peace, ensuring a prosperous life of the population.

They were awarded honorary titles, orders, medals and memorable badges “O’zbekiston Respublikasi Mustaqilligining 30 yilligi” (30th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan).

A solemn awards ceremony was also held in the Jokorgy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes M. Kamalov congratulated the participants on the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence.
