Starting May 1, residents who do not have sufficient official income will be able to take a mortgage loan
17:11 / 2023-04-05

President chairs a meeting on the priority tasks of building residential buildings in the “Yangi O’zbekiston” (New Uzbekistan) neighborhoods and implementing the mortgage program in 2023.

The Head of state noted that the timely provision of construction volumes gives a strong impetus to the growth of economic indicators in each region. In this regard, new opportunities will be created for the population and builders. In particular, more people will be covered by mortgage loans and subsidies:

– starting May 1, it will be possible to obtain a mortgage loan for people who do not have sufficient official income. To determine solvency, funds on a bank card for turnover, rent, utility, and other expenses will be taken into account;

– citizens who have paid most of the first installment will have the opportunity to get a more affordable loan from the bank;

– to accelerate the use of funds allocated for the subsidy, the validity of the subsidy invitation will be reduced from 12 months to 4 months. By shortening this period, an opportunity will be created for more people to benefit from the subsidy.

Citizens who have not used the certificate for 4 months are given the right to re-apply for a subsidy.
