On September 3, 2024, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) held the 10th annual Trade and Supply Chain Finance Program (TSCFP) Awards. Uzbekistan Industrial and Construction Bank (SQB) was awarded the best Trade Deal of the Year during this significant event.

The cooperation between SQB and ADB is large-scale. Currently, the parties are working to finance projects worth about $150 million.

At the event, an award ceremony was organized for various projects implemented over the past year jointly with ADB and the most active banks.

The SQB’s transaction, supported by ADB and implemented with the Italian Banca Popolare di Sondrio, was noted as the Trade Deal of the Year for its global significance in trade and investment financing.

Along with this, the ceremony emphasized the leadership of SQB in financing energy-efficient and green projects in Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by more than 200 representatives of the world’s leading banks.
