As part of the Uzbekistan – Türkiye Business Forum and meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, held on December 25-26 in Ankara, Türkiye, Uzbekistan Industrial and Construction Bank – SQB, together with foreign partners, signed agreements worth $130 million.

Following the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, SQB signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Türk Eximbank to attract a credit line of $60 million to finance investment projects. As part of the Business Forum, an agreement was reached with the Turkish office of Citibank A.S. on cooperation for 2024, including attracting a credit line of $70 million.

According to SQB, these funds will finance trade and investment projects of medium and small businesses in Uzbekistan and implement new projects in the construction materials and electrical engineering industries.
