Spiritual-enlightenment event on “Alisher Navoi is an outstanding poet, thinker and statesman” was held at Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi by Tashkent city Council of the movement of entrepreneurs and businessmen – Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party.

Spiritual-enlightenment event on “Alisher Navoi is an outstanding poet, thinker and statesman” was held at Tashkent State University of Uzbek Language and Literature named after Alisher Navoi by Tashkent city Council of the movement of entrepreneurs and businessmen – Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party.

The event was attended by deputies, poets, writers, scholars and students.

At the literary evening organized in connection with 577th anniversary of the outstanding thinker, it was noted that Alisher Navoi’s works are bright examples of best human qualities and enlightenment, they teach love and loyalty to the Motherland.

It was noted that poet's creative heritage is still widely studied by scientists and researchers of Uzbekistan and world, translated into various languages, scientific publications, monographs and brochures dedicated to him are published. Reports about Alisher Navoi’s works were heard at the event.

Excerpts from works of Alisher Navoi were read out and performances on his poems were presented.
