On April 21, the Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev has met with the Ambassador of Turkey Olgan Bekar.

The parties discussed the efforts of Uzbekistan and Turkey to resolve the Afghan crisis, priority areas of interaction in the joint implementation of various projects in Afghanistan, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The Turkish side expressed its readiness to continue to actively contribute to the establishment of a long-term and sustainable peace in Afghanistan.

The sides also exchanged views on the further development of the situation in Afghanistan and the efforts of the international community to advance the inter-Afghan negotiation process.
