The Special Representative of the President of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev has met with the Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the UK Mission to Afghanistan, Robert Chatterton Dickson, via videoconference.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties exchanged views on the current situation in Afghanistan, and efforts of Uzbekistan and the UK to provide humanitarian and other assistance to the country.

Robert Chatterton Dickson emphasized the significant role of Uzbekistan in establishing long-term and sustainable peace in Afghanistan, implementing various infrastructure projects in the country.
