Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore Seah Kian Peng, who arrived in Uzbekistan to participate in the Third Tashkent International Investment Forum, accompanied by the First Deputy Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Sodiq Safoyev, visited Samarkand.

The Regional Hokim E. Turdimov met the guests at Samarkand railway station.

The delegation led by Seah Kian Peng visited the mausoleum of Amir Temur, Registan Square, the Shahi Zinda complex, the Afrosiyob Museum, and the Mirzo Ulugbek Observatory, and got acquainted with the rich cultural heritage and historical monuments of our people. The guests also visited the mausoleum of the First President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov. Also, the members of the delegation were unforgettably impressed by their visit to the International Tourist Center “Great Silk Road” and the nearby “Eternal City” complex.
