Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis Nuriddin Ismoilov received the Ambassador of Tajikistan Abdujabbor Rahmonzoda.

The Ambassador of Tajikistan was informed about the constitutional reform being implemented in the country.

The Ambassador, highly appreciating the fact that the renewed Constitution reflects the norms relating to human rights, social protection of the population, healthcare, development of the national economy, focused on the wide and open coverage of these processes in the media.

At the meeting, views were exchanged on improving the legal framework for further accelerating bilateral trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation within the framework of the inter-parliamentary friendship groups of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
