Uzbekistan parliamentary delegation led by the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Nuriddinjon Ismoilov, has met with the Chairman of the Senate of Pakistan Sadiq Sanjrani.

Mr. Sadiq Sanjrani highly appreciated the socio-economic, democratic changes and reforms in the development of parliamentarism carried out under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in recent years, as well as the initiatives put forward in the international arena.

Mr. Nuriddinjon Ismoilov emphasized that relations between Uzbekistan and Pakistan have reached a qualitatively new level in recent years, cooperation between the two countries is consistently developing not only bilaterally, but also within international and regional organizations. Attention was also paid to further strengthening inter-parliamentary ties.

At the meeting, an agreement was reached to bring ties between the parliaments of the two countries to a new level, that is, to establish a direct interaction between members of factions of political parties, committees, deputies, as well as exchange experience.
