Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nuriddinjon Ismailov met with the Speaker of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko.

Nuriddinjon Ismailov noted that relations between Uzbekistan and Russia are consistently developing, high results are being achieved in many areas.

According to Valentina Matviyenko, cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan in the parliamentary area invariably takes place in a businesslike and friendly atmosphere.

During the dialogue, the parties expressed confidence in further enhancing collaboration.
