Members of the women's national handball team have departed for Spain to attend the World Handball Championships.

Uzbekistan’s players will compete in Group D with Netherlands, Sweden and Puerto Rico. The meeting with Sweden will take place on December 3, Netherlands – on December 5, and Puerto Rico – on December 7.

Teams from 32 countries are participating in the championship.

The championship will run until December 7.
