Spain hosts international workshop on Active Aging Index
The second international workshop on active aging index was organized in the city of Bilbao, Spain.
The second international workshop on active aging index was organized in the city of Bilbao, Spain. It was organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).
Deputy Chairman M.Ziyadullayev from the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics attended the event.
Experts and managers of statistical services of Spain, the Russian Federation, Sweden, Turkey, Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, Finland, Luxembourg, Hong Kong, Poland, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Portugal, Uruguay, Nigeria, as well as representatives of other international organizations took part at the workshop.
According to the State Committee on Statistics, during the workshop, issues of formation mechanism of an active aging index in national reporting, maintaining the information base, adoption of resolutions on development of an active aging index in the context of the SDGs were considered, suggestions were made on improvement and development of this area.
