Chairman of the State Committee of Veterinary and Livestock Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhrom Norkobilov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan Kim Hee-sang.

It was noted that a South Korean grant for $7 million will be attracted to the livestock industry. Directions were outlined to accelerate the process of attracting gratuitous investments within the framework of a joint project implemented with the KOPIA Uzbekistan Center, as well as the main areas of cooperation with KOICA to develop the livestock sector.

An agreement was reached on attracting preferential loans from Eximbank in the industry for processing livestock products and manufacturing veterinary medicines, preparing relevant documents on large-scale cooperation between the State Committee of Veterinary and Livestock Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
