Solid fuel production launched in Uzbekistan

The Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, together with the Korea Energy Agency, has implemented another project.

According to the Ministry, based on this project, a plant for the production of solid fuel (pellets) based on production waste was launched in Khojeyli district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

"The annual production capacity of the plant is 12,000 tons”, the chief specialist of the Press Service of the Ministry of Energy Obidjon Dilmurodov said. – 20 new jobs were created at the plant. Solid fuel, which is one of the types of alternative fuel, is used for heating houses and social facilities. The plant is another joint project of the Ministry of Energy and the Korea Energy Agency. The product will serve the development of an alternative type of fuel and energy savings in our country.
