By the resolution of the President of February 16, 2023, “On measures to accelerate the introduction of renewable energy sources and energy-saving technologies in 2023”, it is planned to install low-capacity renewable energy sources at social and economic facilities, government institutions and households in the regions of the country starting April 1, 2023.

Solar panels with a total capacity of about 1000 kW were brought from China by Acwa Power, a company operating in the Bayaut district of Syrdarya region. Renewable energy sources provided at the expense of sponsorship will be installed in economic entities and households of the district based on the plan.
