The International Islamic Academy held a scientific-practical conference on “Socio-economic problems of the formation of the third Renaissance”.
Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Rector of the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan Muzaffar Komilov addressed the conference.
It was noted that the third Renaissance is the development of science, the prosperity of the economy and society, and the success achieved on the path of serving the people.
State and public figures, foreign and domestic scientists, professors and teachers spoke about the features of the international scientific and practical conference.

It was emphasized that the ongoing reforms serve to exalt human dignity and the implementation of his goals and hopes.
“The Head of the state put forward an idea “From national revival to national progress”. And this has its deep meaning. Now the stage of national revival, the restoration of the foundations of national statehood, has ended. Now the time has come to ensure the level of development corresponding to the genetic potential of the Uzbek people – the period of the development of the third Renaissance”, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate, Rector of the University of World Economy and Diplomacy Sodik Safoyev said.
“According to the Head of the state, the concept of innovation is of particular importance for all of us. And it is no coincidence that in the adopted Action Strategy five years ago we set ourselves a major strategic goal – to create the foundation of the third Renaissance. Now the President is talking about the results that we have achieved in various industries and responsible tasks for the future”, the First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, Academician Akmal Saidov said.

The meeting of the international conference continued its work in the sectors of “Historical, political and cultural conditions, factors for the formation of the Renaissance”, “Priority directions for the development of the economy of Uzbekistan and the world”, “Socio-economic foundations for the formation of the third Renaissance in Uzbekistan”, “Mechanisms for increasing the efficiency of the tourism sector in the formation of the third Renaissance”, “Improving the training of competitive personnel in the formation of the third Renaissance”.
About 200 foreign and domestic experts, including scientists from Turkey, South Korea, and Russia, made presentations at the conference. They exchanged views on problems and the results of scientific research. The organizers of the conference published a collection of articles and expert reports.
