Within the framework of the project “Social support and protection of the rights of Fergana region’s rural population”, the Regional Hokimiyat together with the Center for Social Support and Adaptation of Women and Children “Mehrjon” organized an event dedicated to the results of the work carried out with the participation of representatives of the German Association of People's Universities in Uzbekistan with the financial support of the German Federal Foreign Office.

The event was attended by the Advisor to the Regional Hokim on Women's Affairs Tolqinoy Tojiyeva, Head of the German Association of People's Universities in Uzbekistan Tatiana Zaichenko, women entrepreneurs working in the region, as well as grant projects’ winners.

Training courses were organized in Fergana region for more than 508 women, young people and their families living in Dangara, Fergana, Buvayda, Oltiariq and Rishtan districts.

The event also included an exhibition of products made by women who have received new professions. Active participants and grant holders were awarded certificates, diplomas, computer equipment and memorable gifts.
