Slovakian delegation visits IUT
Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) hosted a meeting with the delegation from Slovakia led by Mr. Jaroslav Kocak, Vice-President for Strategic Planning and Business Development of RESYSLE.
On 16 October 2018, Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) hosted a meeting with the delegation from Slovakia led by Mr. Jaroslav Kocak, Vice-President for Strategic Planning and Business Development of RESYSLE. The meeting was also attended by representatives of Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center (MUIC).
Acting Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Muzaffar Djalalov welcomed the guests and informed about activities of the university and conditions created for professors and students. He also told about successful implementation of the educational program “3+1” to “4+0”.
IUT Rector noted that the start-up initiatives are being actively pursued at the university. Representatives of large companies deliver lectures for students. The innovation center at the university helps talented students to implement their ideas.
80% of IUT graduates began to work in their area of expertise in various international and local companies.
Participants of the meeting noted that development of cooperation in the field of digital economy is essential.
According to IUT, following the meeting, the parties discussed comprehensive development of cooperation in the field of blockchain technologies, digital economy, implemented improvements with an emphasis on the current needs of the global IT industry. Development and implementation of mutually beneficial joint projects were considered.
