Singers and artistic groups, winning the territorial stages have participated in the competition, held under the motto “You are unique, you are dear to me, my native Uzbekistan!”.

The Chairman of the Composers Union of Uzbekistan R.Abdullayev and others made speech in the event and they noted the attention paid in our country to the revival of our rich history, national customs and traditions.

The project plays an important role in strengthening the creative collaboration between composers, poets, artists, and in creation of works of high artistic level, the further development of child and youth art of singing, as well as music education.

All stages of the competition were organized and conducted at a high level in the systems of the ministries of culture and sports, national education, higher and secondary special education, interior affairs, defence and Uzbeknavo variety art association.

They were attended by about 58 thousand professional and amateur artists, art groups, children's ensembles, bands and choirs from the institutions of higher and secondary special education.

“At the competition, we have performed the song Mustaqil Uzbekistan (Independent Uzbekistan),” says the student of children's music and art school number 11 of Sherobod district in Surkhandarya region Sodiq Mardonqulov. “Art festivals like this call us to protect our sacred land, peaceful life, independence and to create new works.”

The songs sung about independence, Uzbekistan, our peaceful and happy days, boundless care for the younger generation, and respect for the elderly.
