Representatives of Uzbekistan Airports met with a delegation from Changi Airport (Singapore).

The prospects of launching direct flights between Tashkent and Singapore were discussed during the negotiations.

Singapore Changi Airport representatives expressed high interest in launching this route, emphasizing the growing interest of Singapore’s travel companies in Uzbekistan as an attractive tourist destination.

Special attention was paid to the role of the capital’s airport as a key transit hub. The guests noted that Tashkent’s vast route network with European cities makes the capital of Uzbekistan a strategically important point for passenger flows between Europe and Asia.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness for further cooperation and outlined the following steps to work out issues related to logistics, marketing support, and clarifying regulatory procedures necessary to launch direct flights.
