“Silk Road” International University of Tourism expands cooperation with CIS universities
International scientific and practical workshop on “Tourism in the CIS countries and regional cooperation: New challenges and opportunities” was held within the framework of the First CIS Tourism Fair and Tourism Council meeting.
International scientific and practical workshop on “Tourism in the CIS countries and regional cooperation: New challenges and opportunities” was held within the framework of the First CIS Tourism Fair and Tourism Council meeting.
The workshop brought together rectors and vice-rectors of leading universities in tourism of the CIS countries. One of the main issues on the agenda of the workshop was the proposal on implementation of the project of the network university “Silk Road” and exchange of students in leading higher education institutions of the CIS countries, which was supported by the participants of the event.
Following the event, the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism signed Memorandums of Cooperation with Talas State University (Kyrgyzstan), Technological University (Tajikistan), Armenian Institute of Tourism (Branch of the Russian International Academy for Tourism), Khazar University (Baku, Azerbaijan), Kokshetau State University (Kazakhstan), International University of Tourism and Hospitality (Kazakhstan).
