At the festival, organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development and the khokimiyat of Samarkand region in accordance with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan on additional measures for development of tourism in Samarkand region of March 16, 2018, more than 80 craftsmen from different regions of the country are demonstrating their products.

Participants of the festival are becoming greatly interested in embroidery and jewelry of Samarkand artisans, products of copper and ceramists, Tashkent porcelain, Margilan adras, dressing gowns and vests from Shakhrisabz.

Local and foreign tourists with great pleasure tried the Samarkand bread, oriental sweets, fruits and melons grown in sunny Uzbekistan, as well as national dishes demonstrated at the exhibitions.

The folklore and ethnographic groups of the region performed at the festival. Well-known artists and young singers performed on the stages set along the Islam Karimov Street.

The festival continues its work.
