The collection of voters’ signatures is one of the most important requirements for political parties to participate in the elections.

All parties are actively involved in this process, which is the initial phase of the election campaign. It should be noted that each party can collect a maximum of eight percent of signatures from forty thousand voters in one administrative-territorial structure –Karakalpakstan, regions, and Tashkent city.

The People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan organized a signature collection event at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. The citizens were informed about the party’s ideas and the significance and importance of the upcoming political process.

In turn, people addressed the party representatives with questions and expressed their opinions.
