The first day of the prestigious OTP Group Tashkent Grand Slam 2026 International Tournament has ended successfully for Uzbekistan’s athletes. The tournament started in Tashkent’s Humo Arena Complex.

In the final match in the -57 kg women’s weight category, Uzbekistan’s Shukurjon Aminova defeated Mio Shirakane from Japan and became the gold medalist.

In the -60 kg men’s weight category, Doston Ruziyev beat Luka Gadelia from Georgia and rose to the third step of the podium.
