Should voters be able to photograph their ballots and post them on social media?
According to the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Uzbekistan, photographing the ballots and posting them on social media is strictly prohibited.
Photography ban posters are posted at all polling stations. Voters are asked to observe the principle of the secret ballot, not to photograph the ballot paper after voting and not to post it on social networks.
In addition, if the voter has not received the invitation, this does not deprive the citizen of the right to vote. Invitations are distributed to inform citizens about the day, time and place of the elections.
