On the next competitive day of the Boxam-2024 International Tournament in Spain, six of Uzbekistan’s leather glove masters advanced to the next stage.

Eight members of the Uzbekistan national team entered the ring. Mujibillo Tursunov (-63.5 kg) defeated Khunatip Pidnuch from Thailand, and Ruslan Abdullayev defeated John Paul Hale from Ireland. In the -71 kg weight category, Asadkhuja Muydinkhujayev did not enter the ring due to an unexpected injury, as a result of which his opponent Marco Verde from Mexico was declared the winner. Uzbekistan’s second boxer in this weight category, Khavasbek Asadullayev, defeated Harris Akbar from England with a score of 5:0.

In a boxing match in the -80 kg category, Jasurbek Yuldoshev lost to Turabek Khabibullayev. And in the -92 kg weight category, the opponent of Lazizbek Mullajonov, Lewis Williams from England, refused the fight and admitted defeat. In this weight category, Shokhjakhon Abdullayev technically knocked out Antonio Rodrigues from Portugal in the first round.
