Festive preparations for the celebration of the national holiday of Navruz have kicked off in the cities and districts of Samarkand region.

The main festive celebrations in the region are planned to be held in the Central recreation park named after Alisher Navoi and on the streets adjacent to it. A festive concert will be held in Mujiza Amphitheater.

It is planned to hold national folk games. The Shish Kebab Festival will be held on 18 March, in Samarkand, and on March 19, an equestrian competition will be held in Jomboy district. A night music program will be held on the territory of the Registan complex.
