On April 26, the Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Presidential Press Secretary Sherzod Asadov held a briefing.

Presidential Press Secretary informed about the recently held and the upcoming official events with the participation of the Head of the state. 

Last week, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with a presentation of measures for Uzbekistan Airways and Uzbekistan Airports joint-stock companies’ transformation, chaired a meeting on the development of the service sector.

On April 23, the Head of the state received credentials from the ambassadors of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Md Zahangir Alam, the Czech Republic Václav Jílek, the Arab Republic of Egypt Amira Fahmy, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Demiye Zuher Haddad, the Republic of Turkey Olgan Bekar, Head of the European Union Delegation Charlotte Adrian, and Ambassador of the Russian Federation Oleg Malginov. The President also received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan Imomi Sodiq Ashurboyzoda, who is completing his diplomatic mission to Uzbekistan.

On the same day, the Head of the state got acquainted with the new enterprises of Tashkent, as well as the construction and landscaping activities carried out in the capital.

Sherzod Asadov noted that this week it is expected to hold a videoconference on the development of the production of building materials, presentations on improving the maintenance of multi-storey buildings, increasing the efficiency of economic sectors in the regions, and intensifying transformation processes in the railway transport system.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is expected to hold a dialogue with the President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping and President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
