Hokim of Tashkent, Shavkat Umurzakov, met with the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, Khishgeegiin Nyambaatar.

Issues related to the socio-economic development of the capitals, priorities in urban planning, transport, public services, tourism, and investment attraction were discussed.

It was noted that the policy of openness and transparency, implemented in both countries at the initiative of the heads of state, plays a significant role in improving the efficiency of public and municipal administration.

Khishgeegiin Nyambaatar was provided with detailed information on the activities of the Tashkent Hokimiyat Situational Center and on opportunities to ensure public safety and respond rapidly to emergencies using advanced digital technologies.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in expanding interregional cooperation, exchanging experience, and implementing joint initiatives aimed at sustainable development of the capitals and improving the quality of people’s lives.
