A guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest. National anthems of Uzbekistan and India have sounded. President of Uzbekistan passed the guard of honor.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev briefed the mass media of Uzbekistan and India.
President of Uzbekistan expressed gratitude to the President and the Prime Minister of India for the invitation and noted that people of the two countries are linked by historical ties and similar traditions.

We highly appreciate the current dynamics of Uzbekistan – India relations, which have intensified as a result of our high-level meetings. I am sure that this visit and our fruitful negotiations will bring our strategic partnership to a new level, said the President of Uzbekistan.
