As previously reported, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan is addressing the Oliy Majlis.

The event being held at the International Congress Center in the capital is attended by members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, deputies of the Legislative Chamber, heads of public organizations, and representatives of the wider public.

The allocation of 300 billion UZS of preferential credits and subsidies to farmers and landowners has also become a new direction of social support for the rural population. More than 500 companies have started operating in IT parks established in Tashkent, Andijan, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Samarkand, Syrdarya, and Fergana regions.

3 trillion UZS was spent to improve the centralized drinking water supply this year. 5 times more funds have been allocated compared to 2016, which means that the provision of drinking water for the population reached 73 percent.
