Shavkat Mirziyoyev receives Kyrgyzstan’s Prime Minister
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has received the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev.
On November 1, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, who has arrived in Uzbekistan to attend the meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Government.
The President of Uzbekistan warmly welcomed the guest and noted with satisfaction that the regular dialogue at the highest level allowed bringing bilateral cooperation to a qualitatively new level and fulfilling it with practical content.
Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev conveyed greetings and best wishes from the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and expressed gratitude for the warm welcome.
Current issues of strengthening Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan relations in the spirit of friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership were discussed at the meeting.
The importance of further enhancing cooperation in trade-economic, industrial, transport, agro-industrial, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, as well as, cross-border cooperation was noted.
Views were exchanged on the current issues of international and regional agenda.
