On December 5, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the invitation of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, arrived on a state visit to Kazakhstan’s city of Nur-Sultan.

A guard of honor lined up at the International Airport named after Nursultan Nazarbayev in honor of the distinguished guest.

The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met the President of Uzbekistan. A short conversation took place between the leaders.

The main events of the visit will take place on December 6. During the talks at the highest level, issues of strengthening political dialogue, developing trade, economic, transport and logistics cooperation, enhancing cultural and humanitarian exchanges will be discussed. The leaders will exchange views on regional and international politics.

Following the talks, it is planned to sign more than 20 documents.
