Germany’s Limeshain (Federal State of Hesse), hosted a Shashmaqom concert and a presentation of the national music, culture and art of Uzbekistan.

The event was organized by the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Frankfurt am Main and the Uzbekistan – Germany NGO Yuzuk e.v., as well as the national ensemble “Gulzoda”. The event gathered the connoisseurs of art, vocal and instrumental music, the public of the German city, as well as our compatriots in Germany.

As part of the concert, the public was informed about the rich historical, cultural and spiritual heritage of Uzbekistan people, the modern development of culture and art in the country. Architectural sights, fine arts and national Uzbek dances were presented.

The concert program included classical musical compositions performed by the talented soloist Gulzoda Khudaykulova, as well as national Uzbek dances. The participants with great pleasure tasted the national Uzbek pilaf, specially prepared for the event.
