According to WAM, a meeting took place between the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Abdallah Sultan Al Owais and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to the UAE Abdulaziz Akkulov.

At the meeting, issues of developing cooperation between the business circles of the Emirate of Sharjah and Uzbekistan by increasing investments and trade missions, holding joint events and forums, exploring opportunities for expanding trade turnover, and developing mechanisms for mutual communication were discussed.

The Uzbekistan delegation was invited to Sharjah’s next exhibition of watches, jewelry, and Middle Eastern cooking.

Abdallah Sultan Al Owais highly appreciated the significant growth in mutual trade indicators and strengthening of economic relations in recent years and noted the interest in creating additional opportunities for business circles.

In turn, Uzbekistan delegation members noted the constant desire of the host country to invest in important areas.
