Shakhriyor Mahkamov took part in the qualifying round of the singles program of the Olympic Games in canoeing.

Shakhriyor finished third in the 1000-meter race and reached the competition’s quarterfinals. Before that, Uzbekistan’s Ekaterina Shubina reached the quarterfinals.

Uzbekistan’s athletes will participate in the semifinal races in a few hours.
