A professional boxing evening took place in the United States.

Uzbekistan’s Shakhram Giyasov beat Harold Calderon unanimously in their 12-round contest. The scorecards were announced as 120-108, 118-110, and 116-112 in favor of winner Shakhram Giyasov.

According to the WBA, the fight has the status of a title fight. Now Giyasov has to fight WBA welterweight champion Errol Spence or WBA Regular champion Eimantas Stanionis.

Also, several of Uzbekistan’s boxers entered the ring in Yekaterinburg last night. In super middleweight, Odiljon Aslonov won by technical knockout in the eighth round over his rival from Russia Vasily Shtyk. For him, this was the fourth victory in professional boxing.

A fight between Uzbekistan’s Bakhromjon Fozilov and Russian Vadim Tukov also took place. The battle lasted the full ten rounds, but the Russian boxer won.
