Service sector develops

As of April 1, 2019, 230,9 thousand operating enterprises and organizations were registered in Uzbekistan in the service sector, which is 65,8% of their total number (350,7 thousand units). Their growth compared with the last year, amounted to 17.0%.
According to the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics, there are more than 171 thousand small businesses of the total number of organizations and enterprises providing services. As of April 1, 2019, their share was 59.0%.
