Service sector develops
As of March 1, 2019, 227.1 thousand operating enterprises and organizations in Uzbekistan were registered in the service sector, which is 65.9% of their total number (344.1 thousand units).
As of March 1, 2019, 227.1 thousand operating enterprises and organizations in Uzbekistan were registered in the service sector, which is 65.9% of their total number (344.1 thousand units). Their growth, compared to the last year amounted to 16.2%.
According to the State Statistics Committee, in the total volume of market services provided to the leading place is occupied by transport services. Their share amounted to 30.4 %, compared with January – February 2018, the volume increased by 1473.2 billion UZS.
