The second-ranked tennis player of Uzbekistan, Sergey Fomin, won the top prize at the international tennis tournament held in Manama, the capital of Bahrain.

In the final match, he faced Olaf Pieczkowski from Poland. In the first set, he lost to his opponent 1-6, then won the next two, 6-4, 6-3.

Uzbekistan’s player received a monetary reward of $4,612 and 25 points in the ATP ranking, along with the tournament’s top prize.

Last week’s tournament in Bahrain, S. Fomin took second place in doubles.
