Uzbekistan’s tennis players are taking part in the ITF Tbilisi Open Tennis Tournament, which is taking place in Georgia’s capital. The prize fund of the Tournament is $25,000.

On August 3, Sergey Fomin beat the representative of Georgia – Giorgi Chivadze in the first round with a score of 7:6, 6:4, and the second round the representative of Russia – Georgi Filipov with a score of 6:4, 6:0 and reached the quarterfinals of the tournament.

Another player from Uzbekistan Maxim Shin, after qualifying, got into the first round against another representative of Uzbekistan Humoyun Sultanov and beat him in a hard fight with the score of 6:2, 2:6, 6:4.
