Commissioner of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency (SMPA) Choi Gwan-ho arrives in Uzbekistan today.

On November 22-25, the South Korean delegation will hold meetings with Tashkent City Internal Affairs Main Department leadership. The parties will discuss the current state and prospects of interdepartmental cooperation. SMPA delegation will become familiar with the activities of Tashkent City Internal Affairs Main Department.

It is planned to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between Tashkent City Internal Affairs Main Department and Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency. The draft Memorandum provides for further enhancing cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of Tashkent and Seoul, defines promising areas for the development of cooperation in combating international crime and ensuring the safety of tourists, and is aimed at enhancing the exchange of information and experience.

The delegation members will also get acquainted with the sights of Tashkent and Samarkand.
